A couple years ago, Aston Martin teamed up with Sabelt and debuted a pair of carbon fiber racing shoes. Aston Martin is notorious for high end, luxury vehicles while Sabelt is a world leader in research, development and production of seats, safety belts, passive safety accessories and race clothing. So this partnership made a lot of sense.
The shoes are both sophisticated and versatile. Though they were not approved by the FIA as racing boots but still work for driving. They are also made with ultra-soft white calfskin and suede, with patent leather piping and carbon fiber inserts. There is also visible carbon fiber near the laces and on the back of the shoes.
Because these shoes were actually first released back in 2008, they are no longer in existence but we thought they were too cool not to share. Sorry for those folks looking for their pair!
