Wow, just when you think bathroom luxury has hit its peak, something like the N°1 appears, leaving you wondering, what’s next? The N°1 is a full carbon fiber bathtub, made with distinctive design and high quality materials. This really is one of those tubs you would only see in a high-end modern hotel room.
The N°1 bathtub is brought to us from bath manufacturer Corcel. Based in Salzburg, Austria, they consider themselves “distinguished by high-tech methods in conjunction with solidly hand-crafted products. Only top quality fabrics are used in the manufacturing of designer products.”
The N°1 is the company’s first product, which took about 7 months to develop. Measuring at 95.67″ long, 48.43″ wide and 25.20″ tall, the bathtub has the capacity for 87.18 gallons of water. The company press release states that “The No.1 is manufactured from a selected pre-preg carbon fabric. After curing in an autoclave, it is given a last polish in the meticulous hands of our craftsmen. It is finished with a surface coating that otherwise is found only in the high-end sector of luxury cars.”
The exclusive bathtub really differs from anything else out there with its strikingly stylish appearance that immediately draws ones attention. The curves give off an aerodynamic like shape, forcing you to glance at it from every angle. The carbon fiber body and shape also allows the tub to capture and reflect artificial light.
Corcel is releasing a limited quantity of 51 pieces and each individual handmade, carbon fiber tub carries with it a certificate. They say that for every year to come, only a limited number of stunning and exclusive quality products will be redesigned and manufactured.
