There’s an old saying, ‘If you can’t beat them, join them’, and that is exactly what Reebok is doing. Just like Nike has done multiple times in the past, Reebok has finally added carbon fiber into some of their sneakers.
The ZigCarbon by Reebok, is fully equipped with a full length military-grade 100% carbon fiber plate, excellent for speed and flexibility. Â The zig pattern allows the carbon fiber plate to do its work.
Take a look at this video that fully explains the technology behind using the carbon fiber plate:

The shoe has a dual-density ZigLite sole with a prominent flex groove, which allows the carbon fiber plate to work magic. It also has a nylon fused-to open mesh for better breathability. The forefoot and heel foam pods provide excellent cushioning and shock absorption.
At just under 8 oz, its no wonder that almost every review I have read about the ZigCarbon have been positive. Lightweight seems to be the key word from consumers, which makes sense with its carbon fiber component.
The ZigCarbon shoes are available in a limited quantity, you can pick them up for $150 directly from Reebok. Â They are even fully customizable so you can design them with the colors you want
