Carbon Revolution makes a 1-piece carbon fiber wheel that we’ve covered before.  The goal for Carbon Revolution is to bring carbon fiber wheels to more and more cars from an OEM-level.  The wheels weight about 15 pounds, but also come in at around $15,000.

Carbon Revolution stopped by Jay Leno’s garage to talk a little bit about the wheels and then allow for some testing at Willow Springs in a 2008 Porsche GTRS.  So what’s the verdict, is it worth it?  Watch below and find out:

doesnt appear to be a true full carbon wheel like the koenigsegg wheels are. when Leno turns it around it looks to have a metal hub built into it.

I like jay but it would have been nice to get a professional driver do 30 laps with each wheel then review. You cant feel the flex ugh =s we are talking about less than a millemeter at the rim, the suspension bushings flex more than that and jay isnt consistent enough. The unsprung weight and rotational weight i would believe though.
