For the past couple months, I’ve been working on CFG’s new Pinterest profile! And we are really excited about it. So excited that I have literally not logged into my own Pinterest account since the day I started our Carbon Fiber Gear account. Not only does it let us share more carbon fiber, but it allows us to see what our customers are doing as well!
What is Pinterest?
For those who are asking, ‘What is Pinterest?’, I’ve gone ahead and put together a little overview for you.
Pinterest is a social network site that allows users to share images they find interesting, whether from the web or taken themselves. The images are uploaded by users and are then known as Pins.
Users can then place the pins on their own customized boards which are all themed related, for example, hobbies, cooking, dream cars, etc.
Their Mission? “To connect everyone in the world through the ‘things’ they find interesting. We think that a favorite book, toy, or recipe can reveal a common link between two people. With millions of new pins added every week, Pinterest is connecting people all over the world based on shared tastes and interests.”
Join Us
We have been actually been working behind the scenes for the past couple months to build out our boards. On our Pinterest profile, you’ll see we have several Carbon Fiber Gear related boards, to help you access products easier, like “Gifts under $100.” We also have a few boards totally unrelated to carbon fiber because as hard as it is to believe, we like other things too. 😉 (If you have any suggestions or feedback on specific boards you would want to see on our page, feel free to let us know!)
If you are already a member, don’t forget to follow us! We will be doing things like sharing exclusive products with our Pinterest users, just like we have with Facebook and Twitter in the past. Pinterest is the perfect way for people to be able to express themselves without trying too hard to add humor or their own take on it, it simply allows you to show what you find interesting.
