If you ever get a chance to go on a Qantas flight in a A380 airplane, you’ll find the economy class seats are all carbon fiber! We’ve come across a few pictures on the net that showoff the carbon fiber in the new Qantas A380 airplane and thought we should share some them with you carbon fiber enthusiasts.
The first picture was blogged about on Jalopnik, which they got the picture from 99op. This is a great picture showing all of the seats in raw carbon fiber within the entire cabin:
These carbon fiber backshells are exclusive to Qantas, they chose material for its sleek design appeal and weight benefits. Here’s another picture up-close:
We can see a couple more pictures from some folks on Flickr. The first comes from an excited traveler, shugyou:
Paul Hogan posted a picture of the carbon fiber seat tray up close that we can only link to for copyright reasons, so check it out.
Finally, here’s a picture of the an of the inside of an unpainted Airbus A380 engine which you can see a ton of carbon fiber being used (Pic from 99op):
Any of our readers had a chance to experience these in person yet?
