Many of you have seen the huge fields of monstrous wind turbines that generate power. What if you can take that concept, but offer a personal solution that foldable and portable? Designers Marcos Madia, Sergio Ohashi and Juan Manuel Pantano did just that with the Eolic concept:
While it’s still in the concept stages, it seems like quite a clever idea if it could actually generate enough power. The Eolic is made from lightweight carbon fiber and aluminum which help make it portable. It can be mounted on its telescopic pole in just three steps. We’d love to see some solar powered panels added to it in case there is no wind available. There is no word on potential cost, or if it will ever move out of the concept stage.
