If you enjoy finer things in your life, then be sure to check out Gresso’s new carbon fiber mobile phone, the Grand Monaco. Gresso, a Russian based company that specializes in luxury mobile phones and other electronics, is hoping to woo fans with their Formula 1 inspired mobile phone.
The phone features black carbon fiber inserts on both the front and back panels, while the remainder of the case is composed of titanium super alloy. The display screen is protected with hand polished 42K sapphire crystal glass. The keyboard is a single, solid piece of 100 micron thick, polished steel. Gresso offers the phone is two color choices, Metallic Ceramic Black Carbon and Black Ceramic Black Carbon.
Unfortunately, that is where the ‘grand’ features end. The phone offers a meager 2 megapixel camera, only 4-5 hours of talk time, and 3G connectivity. And with a hefty price tag of $2,100, perhaps all you Smartphone aficionados should stick to your BlackBerry’s and iPhone’s. If this is your must-have of the season, however, the phone is currently on sale through the company’s website.
