Adding to our already unique array of carbon fiber inventory, I bring to you, the carbon fiber bluetooth headset known as Carbon. Carbon is the world’s first bluetooth headset made from carbon fiber. The headset is so lightweight, at just under 6 grams, it’s easy to forget you’re even wearing it.
Bluetrek, an award-winning designer and manufacturer of Bluetooth headsets and other wireless devices, is the company that manufactures Carbon. The headset was designed in France.
While using carbon fiber on a bluetooth headset may not be a first, as far as we know it’s a first to actually use it functionally. Not only does this provide a modern design (after all Carbon Fiber is the New Black) but it is what allows this headset to be so lightweight. The headset comes equipped with audio enhancement technology of noise and wind cancellation for both parties on the call, assuring crystal clear conversation. A small switch on the top of the headset is used for powering on and off and when switched, the headset alerts you which mode you are in, (“power on, power off”…you get it). And the same concept for the volume button, “volume highest, volume lowest.” There is also one circular button that you can easily tap to answer calls. Carbon allows for an extended talk time of four and half hours, and five days standby.
I also love the Carbon’s packaging and everything that comes along with it. It includes four earbud sizes, an earhook, a pen clip, a universal USB mini cable for charging and a black carrying box. Added bonus alert, an indicator light will turn red when the battery is charging and blue when it’s fully charged. You can also check the battery status if you are paired with an iPhone!
