Parts will be manufactured in Australia, and bring the order book to $20 million, says the company.

Airbus begins construction on U.S. assembly facility

The A320 Family Assembly Line in Mobile, Ala., will start delivering aircraft in 2016 and will eventually employ as many as 1,000 people.

Edison2 unveils new light car architecture

Automotive X PRIZE winner Edison2 has unveiled the latest iteration of its Very Light Car (VLC) architecture as the vehicle approaches market readiness.

Despatch Industries installs micro-scale carbon fiber line at Australia’s Deakin University

The first installation of the $1.5-million R&D-scale Despatch CFR Series equipment allows users to test fibers and processes, producing material of the same quality as that manufactured on a full-scale production line.
