The case is available in both a glossy and matte finish, and they are made out of 100% carbon fiber with no other added materials.  Since it only uses carbon fiber, the cases are extremely lightweight and low profile, adding barely anything to your actual iPad.  The glossy version weighs just 52 grams, while the matte version weighs just 44 grams.

The HoverCoat case simply snaps onto the back of your iPad.  The inside of the case, regardless of the finish you choose, is a clearcoated glossy carbon fiber.
