I can’t decide if this is just absolutely ridiculous, or if I want to be an infant again. I think…infant again! And why? Because Porsche Design has created a carbon fiber baby stroller, named The Porsche Design P’4911.

Designed by Dawid Dawod, and made out of carbon fiber, aluminum, and leather, the P’4911 is the ultimate stroller. Dawod started to design this during his exchange semester in Austria. Dawod said, “The project was not only a study in high end materials and luxury products but also an opportunity in studying gender roles,” he continues, “The project required deep insight in what Porsche Design stands for as a brand and what characteristics, materials, shapes and philosophies are representing the brand. Furthermore, lots of effort was put into creating kinematic and ergonomic solutions for storing and adjusting the stroller. To solve the mechanics a quick way of generating ideas was to build.”

The Porsche Design 4’911 is foldable so it can become so compact as to fit into any Porsche trunk. Now that is smart thinking for the doting, Porsche driving, parents. The seat can also be put into the car as a protective baby seat. With safety features like the front safety belt, this carbon fiber stroller will keep your tyke buckled in. With the use of such high end materials like carbon fiber and leather, the stroller is designed for durability, allowing the child to use it from birth until the age of four. Another huge selling point for parents, as if all of the above isn’t enough, the carbon fiber stroller features a storage space for snacks, toys, diapers, etc.

It looks like Dawid and his team really did their research with the P’4911, making it suitable for parents and child and especially a proud father.
