The Pagani Zonda F is one ridiculous carbon fiber supercar. Priced at $1.7 million, there are only 25 of the roadsters ever built, and one of them registered in Monaco is no longer.  The 29 year old German driver was allegedly racing a Mercedes at close to 200 mph on Italy’s A10 Autostrada.

During the race, the driver lost control, hit the guardrail, flipped over and collided with the Mercedes.  As you can imagine, the aftermath was not a pretty sight:

The driver and 21 year old passenger were able to get out of the car unhurt, all the injury was done to the ultra-rare exotic.  The Pagani F has a carbon fiber passenger tub, that likely saved a life due to its rigidity and strength.
